  • CCMA, the Center for Computational Mathematics and Applications, is a focal point for research and educational activities in computational mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at Penn State. The center promotes fundamental research in basic algorithmic development and numerical analysis as well as promotes applications of advanced computational techniques in sciences, engineering, economics, and industries.

  • A new learning interdisciplinary seminar, Differential Equations, Continuum Mechanics and Numerical Methods, organized by James Brannick of CCMA and Luca Heltai of the LPCM begins this upcoming Tuesday. The aim of this seminar is to promote new and supplement on-going research collaborations between students, postdocs, and faculty from the Department of Mathematics and several other departments at Penn State.

    This Seminar is on Tuesdays between 4:00 and 5:00 PM in 315 McAllister. For further information or suggestions, please contact James Brannick or Luca Heltai.
