Applications of dynamical systems to population biology, statistical physics, geometry, and fractals/wavelets; the dynamics of density-dependent Leslie population models; dynamics of some interacting particle system models of populations, studying how the free energy of a lattice gas determines the potential (local interactions), and building a unified theory of wavelet regularity via thermodynamic formalism.
