Dr. Lu Wang, who obtained his Ph. D in Computational Mathematics from Penn State in 2014, is currently a postdoc fellow at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). His Ph. D thesis is titled “The Auxiliary Space Solvers And Their Applications” supervised by Prof. Xu, Jinchao. Lu’s research interests include multigrid methods for partial differential equations, fast and scalable solvers for large-scale sparse linear systems, Parallel Computing on CPU and GPU, and applications for Computational Fluid Dynamics, multiphase flow, Fluid Structure Interaction. Wish Lu have a successful career in LLNL.
